Rodney Dean
Head of Risk Advisory
Rodney is a Deloitte trained Chartered Accountant, CA(Z) having joined the firm in 1994 as an audit trainee. He rose through he ranks and was appointed into the partnership in 2003.
He is currently the head of the Risk Advisory Service Line having transitioned from the audit & assurance service line. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He is the Partner in charge of IT Audit, Forensics and the Axcentium EthicsLine service, a confidential and independent ethics and fraud hotline service that enables an organisation’s stakeholders to report instances of fraud, theft, embezzlement, abuse, corruption, dishonesty and any other inappropriate behaviour in the work place.
He has led teams across the region in a variety of risk advisory assignments with his experience including IT audits, forensic audits, internal control and fraud mitigation reviews in various industries as well as information systems audit, internal audit and external audit.
Rodney is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe, as well as the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
Lawrence Nyajeka
Head of Audit & Assurance
Lawrence is a Deloitte trained qualified chartered accountant, CA(Z) and has been with the firm since 2004. He currently serves as the head of the Audit & Assurance Service Line having served in various roles since joining the firm after university. He was appointed to partnership on 1 June 2019.
Lawrence has extensive audit experience across various industry sectors within Zimbabwe as well as experience from the audits of regional and multinational organisations including various ZSE listed entities.
He has a specialisation in the financial services sector, with both local, regional and global experience gained during his secondments to Deloitte East Africa in the Nairobi Office and to Deloitte LLP, United Kingdom, in the Banking & Capital Markets division of the London office. Lawrence has provided finance executives of various entities (clients and non-clients) with technical updates.
As a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe, he has served on ICAZ’s technical committee and the ICAZ’s banking committee. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Graham Dombodzvuku
Head of Tax Advisory & Consulting
Graham is a Deloitte trained qualified chartered accountant, CA(Z) who has been with the firm since 2002 post his tertiary education. He is currently the Head of Tax & Consulting service line. He was admitted into partnership in 2009 initially in the audit and assurance service line before transitioning.
Graham has vast experience across the African continent covering a broad variety of sectors in Zimbabwe, Namibia, Malawi and East Africa including a 3-year secondment to Deloitte Uganda’s Kampala office.
He has extensive experience in providing advice to large and listed companies with emphasis on Agriculture, Manufacturing and Mining entities. He has excellent knowledge of IFRS as well as broad accumulated knowledge of the workings of business functions across varying businesses in Southern, Central and East Africa as well as intimate knowledge of the client experiences in interfacing with ZIMRA and its systems.
Graham leads the Advisory teams with a portfolio encompassing our Business Process Solutions offering and Environmental, Social & Governance offering, a key area heavily impacting businesses of today and the future.
Graham is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe, as well as the Zimbabwe Institute of Tax Accountants.
Tricha Simon
Risk Advisory Partner
Tricha Simon is a partner in the Risk Advisory Service Line. He has over 33 years professional experience. After 7 years in industry, he joined the firm in 2000. Over the years he has gained experience in Data analytics, Internal Audit, Forensic Audit, Risk Assessment and Information Systems Audit working with large ERP systems. He is a specialist in data analysis and has been involved in independent revenue re-computations for mobile and fixed network operators and banking clients.
He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), Certified Data Analyst (CDA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
He is also a regional specialist trainer in the use of Data Analytics for audit purposes and has trained hundreds of forensic, internal and external auditors in Data Analysis in Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Tricha is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) as well as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
Stelios Michael
Head of Quality, Independence & Risk Audit & Assurance Partner
Stelios is a Deloitte trained qualified Chartered Accountant, CA(Z). He joined the firm in 2001. He was appointed Partner in the Assurance & Advisory service line in 2009. Stelios currently serves the dual roles of the head of Quality, Independence & Risk business unit as well as a partner in the Audit & Assurance service line.
Stelios has extensive audit experience across various industry sectors within Zimbabwe which include, but are not limited to; manufacturing, consumer services and retailing, healthcare, hoteling, agriculture, mining, pension funds, insurance, and financial services. Some of the entities within these sectors that he services are key players within the local economy.
He gained global experience through secondments to Deloitte Middle East in the Dubai office as well as to Deloitte LLP, United States in the Houston office.
Stelios serves as a member of the Accounting Procedures Committee (APC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) as well as a member of the Accounting Committee of the Zimbabwe Accounting Practices Board (ZAPB). He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Monica Gotora
Tax Advisory & Consulting Partner
Monica has over 30 years of professional tax experience. She joined in 2007 having served in various capacities including tax Associate Director and Head of Tax Compliance Services. She was appointed to the partnership in 2025.
Monica has vast knowledge in the tax systems gained when she was employed by the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) as an investigations officer. Prior to that she was a senior assessor in the audit department of the then Department of taxes. Monica was part of the VAT implementation team before its introduction responsible for training the ZIMRA staff and industry on the mechanics of VAT. She received VAT training from the South African Revenue Services and was attached to the Zambia Revenue Authority to gain experience on the VAT administration.
Her experience has been vital in the development of the firm’s tax risk and opportunity review methodology. Monica has also been involved in a number of advisory and dispute resolution cases concerning key stakeholders.
She is an associate member of the Zimbabwe Institute of Tax Accountants, Institute of Certified Tax Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICTA) and a member of the Tax and Other Legislation Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ), which interact with ZIMRA and the Ministry of Finance on tax legislation matters. She regularly serves as a resource person for ZITA, ICAZ and ICTA’s tax presentations.
Rumbidzayimambo

Rumbidzayimambo is a Deloitte trained qualified Chartered Accountant, CA(Z).
She initially joined the firm in 2003 for a period of 6 years. She stepped away to establish a family business before re-joining the firm in 2017. She has gained a wealth of experience through the various roles she has held in her overall tenure with the firm. She was admitted into the partnership in 2025.
She has over fourteen (14) years experience in external audit and financial reporting. She is a certified facilitator, undertaking training and facilitation of learning programmes.
She gained global exposure through secondment to Deloitte UK in the Birmingham office.
Rumbidzayi is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ), sitting on its Council, the Human Resources Committee as well as the Auditing and Professional Standards Committee.
Rumbidzai Matiki
Audit & Assurance Partner
Rumbidzai is a Deloitte trained qualified Chartered Accountant, CA(Z) and has been with the firm since 2009. She has held various roles as she rose through the ranks with her a to partnership in 2025.
She gained global experience through secondments to Deloitte Canada as well as to Deloitte LLP, United States in the Washington DC office.
Rumbi has experience in a variety of listed, large and group audit clients across a range of industries including Consumer Business, Retail and Banking. She also sits on the Axcentium Technical Committee responsible for consultations on IFRS application to complex and unique business transactions.
Rumbidzai is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Zimbabwe (ICAZ), sitting on the Accounting Procedures Committee.
Charity Mtwazi
Managing Partner
Audit & Assurance Partner
Charity has been with firm since 2003 and is a Deloitte trained qualified Chartered Accountant, CA(Z). She rose through the ranks serving in various roles from being an attachment student and was admitted into the partnership on 1 June 2017.
Since her admission to partnership, she has held various leadership positions including Head of the Audit & Assurance service line as well as the accredited Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe training officer for the firm before being elevated to the position of Managing Partner on 1 June 2022. She the first female Managing Partner in the Zimbabwean practice. As managing partner, she led the transition from Deloitte Zimbabwe to Axcentium following the firm’s exit from the Deloitte Network on 30 November 2024.
Charity has extensive audit experience across various industry sectors within Zimbabwe as well as experience from the audits of regional and multinational organisations. She has been the signing off partner on various ZSE listed client audits and on clients that are instrumental to the Zimbabwean economy. Outside of external audit, she has experience in financial reporting (IFRS/IAS/GAAP) and technical accounting.
As a member of ICAZ, she sits on the Education committee. She was a part of the inaugural Women Chartered Accountants Network (WeCAN) committee that champions the role of women in the profession, a cause close to her heart. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Charity has been recognised for her professional achievements by both Megafest and the Zimbabwe CEO’s Network over the years.
Sylvester Muzenda
Risk Advisory Associate Director
Sylvester Muzenda is an Associate Director in the Risk Advisory service line and has been with the firm for 19 years.
He has over 15 years exposure within the control assurance field with extensive experience in performing reviews of business processes, application controls, computer generated information, general computer controls, and data analysis projects in various computing environments.
He has been involved in project risk advisory, project quality assurance, IT due diligence, cyber security reviews, SWIFT security assessments, third party assurance, enterprise risk management, corporate governance, forensics and internal audit engagements.
He has delivered and managed professional services for a number of clients in the consumer, energy, financial services, public services, healthcare, and technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sectors.
Sylvester gained global experience through secondment to Deloitte Middle East in the Dubai office.
Sylvester is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and a member of the ISACA (formerly Information Systems Audit and Control Association) professional association. He is also a former board member of the ISACA Harare Chapter.
